Burwood Highway

As walk home from my routine of the Age picking and mid afternoon snack, a lady approached me from her car on winton street.
”Excuse me, do you know how I can get to Toorak Rd?”
“Well yes,” I said “You just have to go down on Burwood Highway.”
”How do I ge to Burwood Hwy?”
“From here, you turn left on Middleborough, then left on Burwood Hwy. If you go all the way down, you’ll be on Toorak Road.”
“It’ll go down to Camberwell, right?”
“Yuessss”
“Oh my, I’ve driving around like an idiot,” she said, “Thank you so much!” 
HUH??
It’s shocking to know, I AM familiar with the place.
So how long do you get to know your city? After people gave you dirty look, giving you a funny accent, treat you like ‘you don’t understand english’, losing your wallet and valuables in this place, shock you with ugly broadband plans, and make sure you spend your money on THEM…
